Shapes and Composition

Gestaltung in Metall, Holz, Glas und Textilien

September 2015 - July 2016
Nürnberg, Germany

The objects presented in this section are without functional or artistic claims. Their aspiration is instead the development of inherent aesthetics, form and material. Produced by hand, every piece started with sketches, material experiments, trying to find an interpretation of broad topics like rhythm and sequence, movement, order or entanglement. The results are a multitude of objects between five and fifty centimeters, some static, some dynamic. I believe understanding the materials and the processes that shape them on small and large scales is an essential base before moving to digital practices and production.
